IH Lisbon is nationally and internationally recognised as a leading centre for teacher education. We provide tailor-made training and development courses for primary, middle and secondary school teachers in the private and public sectors, as well as international schools. Our part-time online Cambridge CELTA and Delta Module 1 Exam Preparation courses support teachers at every stage of their professional journey.
We also specialise in General English courses for adults, delivered fully online through our dynamic ON programmes. For companies, we design flexible online and on-site training tailored to professional goals and real-world communication needs.

A story full of successes!
International House World Organization
International House was founded in 1953 in Córdoba, Spain by John and Brita Haycraft, with the aim of providing an innovative approach to language teaching and language teacher training.
It is a network of schools spread throughout the world – one of the largest and oldest groups of language schools. Currently, there are more than 150 schools in 52 countries. All schools are governed by the same quality standards!
Our commitment is to continue implementing high standards of quality in language teaching and to contribute to better understanding and communication between the peoples of the world.
