Pre A1 – Starters
Starters is the beginning of the English language learning journey for children. The test introduces everyday language, both written and spoken, in a fun and motivating way.
A1 – Movers
Movers is the next step in the English language learning journey, following Starters. It’s a great way to help children develop their language skills and progress in English.
A1 – Flyers
Flyers is the last of the tests for children. It’s an excellent way to demonstrate that the child can handle everyday English, both written and spoken, at a basic level.
A2 – Key | A2 – Key For Schools
A2 Key for Schools and A2 Key are qualifications that demonstrate that students can communicate in simple situations.
B1 Preliminary | B1 Preliminary for Schools
The B1 Preliminary for Schools and the B1 Preliminary are qualifications that demonstrate that students have mastered the basic concepts of the English language and possess practical skills for everyday use of the language.
B2 – First | B2 – First for Schools
The B2 First for Schools and B2 First certifications prove that students possess the language skills necessary to live and work in an English-speaking country or to study in courses taught in English.
C1 – Advanced
Over 11,000 educational institutions, companies, and government departments worldwide accept the C1 Advanced as proof of a high level of English proficiency.
C2 – Proficiency

Preparation Centres
As a Cambridge Examination Centre in Portugal, we support Preparation Centres in preparing students for Cambridge English Language Assessment exams.
We have our own facilities in Torres Vedras and Lisbon for conducting exams and maintain close and personalized support for the centers we work with. In addition to the official dates, we collaborate with Preparation Centres in defining alternative dates, tailored to their study plans, such as sessions in May or July.
Whenever conditions are suitable and there is a significant number of candidates, it is also possible to conduct the exams at the Preparation Centres’ own facilities, provided they meet the quality standards required by Cambridge. This option allows for greater convenience for candidates, who take the exams in a familiar environment.

Only during the periods established before each session; this will be approximately 4 months before the exam date for paper-based exams.

The paper copy of your Confirmation of Entry, your Citizen Card or a valid passport. We provide pencils, erasers and pens.

No, once you register, you cannot change your registration to another session. Registration is only valid for the session you registered for, whether or not you take the exam.

If you arrive late for any part of the exam, you will not be allowed to enter the exam room. We recommend that on the day of the exam, you arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.

The email containing your exam details, the Confirmation of Entry, includes the information to view your results online. Sometimes, the results are available before the six weeks stipulated by Cambridge.

You will be notified by email as soon as it is sent to us at Cambridge. The approximate timeframe is 2 months after the publication of the grades. You can collect the certificate at our Centre, or authorize another person to do so by presenting the authorization form.

Cambridge Assessment does not issue copies of its certificates, so we always advise people to make color and certified copies to hand in wherever they need them and always keep the original properly stored.

Yes, you can check the score required to receive a certificate corresponding to the level you actually achieved.

You can register as many times as you like, and for each session you will have to pay the corresponding registration fee.

There is no possibility of viewing the exam, even though you can request a review. As this is a separate process from registration, you will have to pay additional fees separately.

If there is a legitimate medical reason for not taking the exam, and upon presentation of a medical certificate, you may be able to get a partial refund of the registration fee. Each case is evaluated individually.

Any candidate with a disability (hearing, vision, motor skills, etc.) should contact our PT073 Centre as soon as the exam session is available online, before registering, so that we can assess their situation and manage any necessary special arrangements.

Not for the KET, PET, FCE, CAE, or CPE exams, but some of the topics that may appear on the tests may require a certain level of maturity. The YLE exams have a minimum and maximum age (they are for students aged 7 to 12), as do the KET for Schools, PET for Schools, and FCE for Schools exams (for school-age students).
